Oh my stress

I'm not sure what happened but I got bombarded with stress and looking at it, there's nothing to stress over... I don't get it!

We have 110 days... All we have left is:
Kids tux fittings
Center pieces (I have 85% of the supplies then need to play with my idea)
Cake tasting
Seating arrangement


It's all minor... The tux shop said bring the kids in around jan/feb for basic measurements but that's not going to happen

FI and I were talking on our 2 1/2 hr drive about how we were gone all weekend (2 of the 3 kids had a tournament) next weekend is my littlest mans bday, the weekend after is my middles and their party. Then we have another tournament (FI and I promised ourselves the wedding planning would not affect the kids tournament attendance bc its Imoortant to them). Then we have more bdays... By the time we can escape to get the tux fittings and cake tasting it'll be mid April.

I know it'll be ok but it still stresses me out.

Thankfully my dress is done other than my final fitting. And David's is holding it hostage for me till I'm ready to pick it up.

  • I'm getting married in 67 days and don't even have ring bearer tuxes yet and my list is like twice as long as yours.. Relax. You've got no reason to be stressed out.

  • I've got 41 days left... I'm making the wedding favours, we still need to figure out drinks and bartenders, my shoes aren't in yet.  Oh, and I'm also transfering a job and moving, and FI and I are selling two houses.

    Relax!! You sound like you got it all under control!

  • I'm getting married in three weeks and m to do list is massive. This Saturday we're having dinner with friends, the Saturday after that is Bachelor/ette weekend, and the Saturday one week before the wedding I'm going to a 5 hour long baby shower that's about an hour and a half's drive from me and then hosting a craft night for last minute stuff. You'll get it all in.

  • Just read a great article about stress...It reminded me that stress is just increased oxeygen in the blood and the hieghtened levels of awareness are great for focus - so go tackle some non-wedding related things (since it seems your wedding tasks are handled!) and enjoy being productive!  "Stress" can be a very positive thing if you change your perspective on it!

  • Ugh, story of my life. You need a stress reliever that's for sure! Start doing a morning run or yoga in the evenings.. it helps me significantly with stress! :)
