Ideas for bride's wedding night hotel room?

Hey All, 

One of my duties as bridesmaid is to check my best friend and her new hubby into their hotel room for their wedding night and I want to do a few special things for them - any ideas? I'm thinking champagne and chocolate covered strawberries - anything else anyone has done or can think of?

Petals on the bed, heart-shaped, sounds cheesy but most brides would 'ahhh' if they saw that.

Some real food.  Room service or pizza.  The bride and groom often end up not eating or eating very little at the reception because they are so busy greeting people and people want to congratulate them.

Nice bath products. The first place I headed in our wedding night hotel was the shower to get my hair clean and freshen up after all that dancing.

And I totally agree with the food and maybe some water bottles. Too much alcohol and no food would not be fun in the morning.

My bridesmaids left rose petals scattered everywhere, snacks ready to take on the plane the next day for the HM, romantic songs playing, strawberries, and there was a bottle of champagne with our toasting flutes and two slices of our wedding cake from the staff at the resort. It was really sweet of all of them to do that.

If the bride will be taking her husband's last name, maybe something with her new initials on it, it will probably be the first time she sees them after the wedding unless they're doing monogram stuff at the reception (which I'm not a fan of lol).
