Hi! Long time lurker here. (My first user name had my full name in it so I deleted my account and made a new one). I figured I'd introduce myself since I've been creepin these boards for the past year. A little bit about myself- happily married since September, I love cooking, reading, country music, and sharing laughs and good times with friends and family. We have two fur babies- a 2 year old red pit mix and a 7 month old blue pit. They are absolutely spoiled rotten :).

Looking forward to chatting with everyone!

    You bet! I love to take any chance I can to show them off


    This is Roxie and Junior in August, we only had Junior for a month or so



    And this is them on Christmas day. I was trying to get one of them right in front of the tree looking at the camera, but this is the best I could do with all the excitement of the day



    Together they can be a handful but we love them to pieces!

    1000 Comments Third Anniversary Combo Breaker





    The first two are a few years old and the last pic is the most recent. He was my husband's dog when we met and he's now probably about 13 years old. He's half pit bull and half boxer. I was scared of him for probably the first 8 years of our relationship lol but he's a really good dog.

    Hi! We're pittie lovers as well. Our Maisy is a rescue bait dog from a fighting ring. She's red nose mixed with Chessie. She's missing most of her nose, her teeth are filed, she has a BB lodged in her ear from being shot in the face, but she's the most wonderful, gentle dog in the world. She loves kids and ice cubes. :)

    He is adorable! Yeah I hate the bad raps that pits/boxers/dobermans/german shepherds have, the majority of them are good dogs, you just have to raise them right. Breed discrimination really chaps my asss.

    That is horrible! Those stories always make my stomatch turn and make me so angry. But then when you hear about good endings that makes me really happy : ) That is such a blessing  that yall found her and she is now in a safe, loving home.  Do you know if the fighting ring was ever busted?

    I'm not sure. She was found in VA  wandering with two fighting dogs. One was able to be adopted out and one unfortunately was too aggressive and had to be put down.

    Because our dog was strictly bait/breeding and not for fighting, she's pretty much had every ounce of aggression beaten out of her. Our cat beats her up, our daughter pokes her in her no-nose, pokes her in the eye, pulls her tail, and she just sits there. Poor dumb doggie :)
