SkinCare

What skin care products do you use or recommend to hydrate skin?

Recently heard a comment that my skin looked a little dry which made me think, I would like to have the glowing skin celebrities seem to have (lol).....suggestions?

Re: SkinCare

  • I'm pretty low maintenance with my skin care.  I use neutrogena soap and aveeno moisturizer.

  • Are you drinking enough water in the day?  Sometimes all you have to do is change some dietary habits and not pay so much for skin care.

  • Boots #7 products are very good.  Available at Target.

  • I use neutrogena for sensitive skin moisturizer.
  • What a strange thing to say to someone.

    "Hi, your skin looks dry."

    ?!

I use Oil of Olay anti-aging.  Don't judge lol.
  • Clinique moisturizer.

  • I have very dry skin on my face. The only thing that seems to workfor me is Mary Kay's TimeWise Age Fighting Moisturizer. It's a face scrub then after you cleaned your face there is a lotion. I don't feel greasy afterwards and after using it for not even a week I felt a difference and saw a difference.

  • Frangrances usually make my skin dry, so I use a fragrance free cleanser (Generic Cetaphil skin cleanser) and the Fragrance Free Oil of Olay 7 signs of Aging stuff.

This stuff is amazing!  Make sure you're drinking enough water, too.
  • I use Cetaphil cleanser. I rarely moisturize, though. But it would be that or the Clinique one for sensitive skin.

  • I have a very dry face as well but no moisturizing lotion working for me. I tried something from Mary Kay and realized it had the same consistency as vasaline. And instead of spending how much on Mary Kay products I just buy a cheapo vasaline. I only use it at night and put it on before bed. I was my face, and put a very small amount of vasaline on my "problem areas" which is normally around my nose and eyes. Dont use too much or your face could appear oily :)

  • I actually read a study about a year ago that said the amount of water you drink has nothing to do with how hydrated your skin is.

To answer your question, I use Aveeno Positively Radiant during the day and Burt's Bees Carrot night cream.
