Bored at work

well, its Tuesday so its going to be a pretty boring day at work. I work in insurance so I guess almost everyday is pretty boring, except yesterday. It was so busy and it made my day go by so quickly. What can I do to help make my day go by while Im here? Is there any wedding planning I could get done while at work?

What all do you have left to plan?  I pretty much planned my entire wedding, including making my invitations at my work.

As far as what you can do to make your day go by faster...if you figure something out please fill me in.  I don't remember the last time I had any work to do at work.  Sometimes being a government contractor sucks.

  • My invites and stuff are done. I did my registry while at work too. I was thinking maybe I should start researching honeymoons and start getting my music list down?

  • I look at Mental Floss a lot to keep me occupied between patients and phone calls.

  • Oh gosh I can completely relate. I'm a security officer, all I do is sit on my butt for eight hours. I still need to find a venue and a dress.. neither of which i can do from work. :(

you could start researching while at work, if you have internet access.

  • I did ALL my planning at work including schedule appointments. I'd email pictures and ideas to my H and if he approved or had any input I added it to my spreadsheets.

Excel was my friend. I added the budget, vendors, payments, etc. so it was nice. I even did my reception layout in excel.

The actual planning didn't take long at all though, the last thing I did was print the invites. (I ordered them at work through DB)
  • I must admit I pretty planned the whole event at work.  I can't sleep at night because I think about the ceremony so much so I would identify venders save them on my phone and contact them the next day.   Now that its all pretty much done and I just have to pay for things I am bored out of mind at work.

I suggest looking for some of the smaller items you will need like your champagne glasses, what style to wear your hair in or even verifying the wording for your invites.

All of which are fun to do!!!
