Hello fellow brides. To the Americans that read this post happy Thanksgiving.
I am confused here and want to know who is in the right. My FI and I are planning on paying for the whole wedding but I seem to be the only one that has been saving. Last weekend my FI went out for dinner with the guys from work were the meal was $60.00 a head. I was suppost to go out for dinner with my girlfriends but my FI got all mad and kept reminding me that we were saving for a wedding so in turn decided to have the girls over for a movie instead. But yet when I reminded him that we were saving for a wedding when he told me about the dinner he got all mad at me and said it was his money and he was going to go and I couldn't stop him. Then later that week we went into Toronto to the yarn store I buy my yarn from since I am an avide knitter and bought 3 skeins of yarn to finish a blanket as a gift and his mom then went on and on about how my knitting can't pay for the wedding.
I am starting to think I have made a mistake by wanting the wedding to make people happy I would much rather get married at city hall with 2 people their as witnesses. I just feel like no matter what I do I can't make anyone happy!
