What the heck is going on?  Chit Chat is listed with no moderator, and budget is listed with Lovethebeach as the mod?   Are we doing flashback Monday or something?

No it's fine. IT is working on it. For some reason they can't get me appear on the top of the board LOL.

PS. technically Lovethebeach is still the mod of the budget board, I'm just acting mod until they can contact her to see if she's going to step down. At this point they need a search party because she they can't reach her and it's been weeks.

Ok !  I was nervous there for a second.  You should see me magically appear as a Mod soon on a couple of boards.      I'm not sure how long it takes to kick in.

Ahhhh...  gotcha.  On the boards that I am taking over, the mods haven't posted there or on any other board since August or before. It's clear they aren't active around here anymore.  The ones I'm taking over are pretty slow boards though, so it shouldn't be overly difficult for me to maintain them.

I kind of feel like if you abandoned your board months ago you are in violation of the mod contract and they shouldn't need to contact you before replacing you.  But that's just my 2 cents.  Trust me having slow boards may be a blessing. CC and Budget can be hectic at times.

I feel the exact same way.  On some of the boards, people have paged the Mods and sent private messages, so they just aren't bothering to come here around anymore.  I don't know how long it will take before I show up as a mod, but my contract went in this morning and I agreed to take on four boards.  But, I'm not sure if they have contacted the existing mod yet, so I don't want to say "HEY, this is my new board!" until I know that has happened.

Plus Size, Gay Weddings, Northern CA and Bay Area, CA.   They are all pretty slow.  Plus size only gets a couple of posts every day, the other three boards are maybe 1-3 posts per week.
