Ring engraving

Does anyone know if engraving on a ring can be changed? We originally planned to get married in Sept but had to change to July. I originally engraved the ring with the Sept date. I assume we probably can't, but thought I'd ask if anyone knew. TIA!

Yes it can be changed. Jared's was able to polish an engraving out of my FI's ring.

I can't remember.  It wasn't his wedding ring. Well it was his wedding ring from his previous marrige that he wanted to keep and wear on  his right hand.  I didn't think it cost him anything but, I could be wrong.  He got the ring from Jareds so maybe they did it for free.
