What are you looking forward to in 2013

So I already made my pessimist thread so here is an optimistic one. What are you looking forward to in 2013?

1) Mom getting healthy again (chemo ends in May so we can see the light at the end of the tunnel)
2) TTC after mom gets better

My son is getting married! Also losing the extra pounds from 2000 to 2012.

My wedding and honeymoon. Yay. Hopefully I can sell my house in my old city and FI and I can get a place together.

Honestly, the possibility of my FI having good enough grades to transfer to Columbia or NYU because I'm hating DC. Sigh.

Getting married! That should be the highlight. Other than that, just making it through the rest of this school year and hopefully getting lots of interview offers when I apply for residency in the fall. Edit: I know this is a tad pessimistic, but it'll be a big part of 2013 for me. I'm having major knee surgery three weeks from tomorrow. Right now preparing for that is the focus of my life, and I'm more than a little worried about. Crossing my fingers it goes well and actually works there's probably less than a 50 chance that it will work.

Graduating with my Bachelor's, getting mine and FI's first place, and getting married!

Getting married in April! Starting nursing school this month, meeting my first niece/nephew in June.. And for the love of god hopefully a resolution to the fiscal cliff and debt ceiling so my FI Can keep his job...

Getting married in June! Honeymooning in Hawaii. Bigger jobs for both FI and I. Move to bigger place. Mom moves closer. More money. Happy start to rest of my life with my beloved.

I'm looking forward to getting married in November!!! I'm looking forward to selling my house in May and buying a bigger one. I love moving! And I've been on Weight Watchers for 6 months so I'm looking forward to even more weight loss this year.

A few things:

1.  DS graduating HS.  He is a surprise child, just as I was.  I have had kids in this district, non-stop since 1985.  Ready to be done.

2.  I know this is controversial and until now I have kept it off the boards, but DS is working on his Eagle Scout project and I am immensely proud.  He and many of his Life and Eagle scout buddies want change and would warmly welcome a fellow scout who was gay.  He belongs to a HUGE troop in a tiny town without a traffic light and they are inclusive and loving and dedicated to these boys, politics and scandals be damned.  This isn't something we ever thought we would see for DH and I am proud of him and proud of his stance on the decisions made at the national level.  He disagrees with them.

3.  Losing the weight I have gained since Oct 2011

4.  Seeing pictures of CMG holding her new grandbaby!

-Getting married! Finally! Haha
-Standing with a couple of our best friends while they get married.
-More weddings and babies of course.
-Hopefully FI getting a new job that doesn't treat him like crap.
-Maybe TTC later in the year? It's something we've talked about and we know we for sure want to wait until after our friends' wedding, but we'll have to see where we are at money wise.
-Buying a house? Hopefully? Or at least getting out of this disgusting place!

I am looking forward to being stronger, faster, and more professionally successful, and seriously looking forward to our Bulgaria trip in June and maybe Slovakia, Hungary, and Austria...road trip! I'm also looking forward to all the weddings we're going to go to this year!

The biggest thing I'm looking forward to is getting married in September!

Saving more money, paying off more student loan debt, H and I getting settled in our jobs (and possibly getting paid more!) and seriously looking into buying a car by the end of the year. Also looking to get fit and just live better- make good lifestyle choices and daily decisions.
