For Brides looking for a Reception site in southern NH:
My best friend had her recption at the Mile Away Restaurant in Milford NH this past saturday. I was her MOH and the entire day was AMAZING. The restuarant has a tented area in their beautiful gardens which has a separate cottage for bathrooms, a big bar, dancefloor, and lots of space for tables. They also have areas set up outside the tent, for food, as well as gardens to walk through, and table and chairs near some water fountain.
Not only is it beautiful,but it is REASONABLE! The menu has starting prices (buffett/stations) for $36 pp, and there is lots of area for add ons. However the 36 includes a salad station, grill station, pasta station, CHAMPANGE toast AND your cake! The food was amzing. The prices are currently so low because they are just starting doing weddings a few years ago. The staff were wonderful, constantly bringing the wedding party drinks and food while we were taking pictures in the gardens.
So if you are a bride who is looking for a different reception site (compared to a hotel ballroom), for a reasonable price....check out the Mile Away!
