Cost to Re-Dip?

Does anyone know how much Kays would cost to have your ring to be sent off to get re-dipped? I have the lifetime warrenty, diamond guarantee too! Does that cover it? We have very hard well water where I live and you can tell I've worn it in the water (I don't anymore). Just curious. Anything helps.

  • I want to say I asked someone a few years ago and they told me like $50, but why don't you just call them and ask? You'd get the correct answer within seconds.

  • If you purchased the warranty it should be free, otherwise I believe it's about $100.

  • Ditto PP -- it should be free if you purchased the warranty.

  • My ring is from JB Robinson which is affiliated with Kays, and as long as you have purchased the warrenty it is covered free of charge. :)
  • But only if you have the gold warranty.  The diamond warranty should have just been automatically included.  The gold warranty you purchase for more--that's what covers all that stuff.

  • We bought my rings at Jared, who is owned by the same umbrella as Kay's. If you bought an ESP with your ring, you should be covered.  I did with both my rings and had them dipped for free.

  • I have a yellow gold ring that I was thinking of having dipped (not my e-ring) and the independent jewellery store I called was asking $50 for the service.
