Anyone else have ring stabilizers?

My jeweler added those little balls inside the ring that are supposed to keep it from moving. My problem is I have really skinny fingers but my knuckles are bigger so at first my ring was way too big, and we got it sized down to 4.25 because it was big enough to squeeze past my knuckles but still tight enough below the knuckle that it doesn't flop around when I move my hands. But with these stabilizers, it's almost impossible sometimes to get the ring off because they catch on my knuckle. I don't know if they're really worth having and I know eventually when I get pregnant I don't want to end up having my ring cut off due to really swollen fingers. So has anyone else had this problem? And do the people with no stabilizers have a problem with not having them?

  • I don't have any on mine and it slides when I'm cold but such is life. It doesn't slide during hot weather and when I'm sweaty.

  • I have the same problem as you. With nothing on my ring, it flops around on my finger but is impossible to get past my knucle. But with the balls on it, it's perfect still a little tight to take off but nothing soap and water can't get off. My wedding band is a little bit bigger so after I get my third band next year, I was going to get them sautered all together and hoping that helps and get the balls taken off. But I worry about the same thing. You can always get the balls taken off and use the ring guards during pregnancy.
