I am in the process of ordering my save the dates and wanted to put the url for the wedding website at the bottom, the only problem is that it is too long. Does anyone know how to change the url for the knot wedding website?
That really only changes it for something online though by going to Tiny URL. I'm having the same issue as OP. Putting it on the save the dates or invites that go through the mail, it is gianormous! I feel your pain OP. Don't know how to change it though.
You can't change your URL once you've created your website. You'd have to create a new TK account. Are you sure you aren't looking at the internal link? The internal link will display when you look at your website since you are currently signed in. The external link is always in the same format it is: http://www.theknot.com/ourwedding/ The last part is your names, whatever you customized when you created your website for example http://www.theknot.com/ourwedding/JohnDoeandJaneSmith
If you go to the home page on TK, and click on wedding website (under planning tools) it should take you to "manage my website" and it will have your personal URL listed there.

THANK YOU. I hadn't created my external web address yet. That's great. Thanks a lot!
RJ - no you can't change your URL once it has been established. You have to delete your TK account and create a new one all together to do that. And you'd have to email TK support to have them delete it.
Re: Change url for the knot wedding website?
This site will make the url smaller for you so that you can put it in your siggy.
The last part is your names, whatever you customized when you created your website for example
http://www.theknot.com/ourwedding/JohnDoeandJaneSmith
