Once a bride, always a bride???

My Soon to Be Hubs has a question..

when do i become his bride and how long am I his bride??

The definition of bride is a recently married woman...but I was under the impression I was a bride now???

I said that I'm a bride now, I will be a bride on the big day, and I will always be his bride.

Thoughts???

  • My mom and dad were married 63 years when she passed away.  My dad often referred to her as "his bride".  It was very lovely.  I agree with nilla:  a wise man will always treat his wife as his bride.  And a wise woman will always treat her husband as her groom.  =)
"Trix, it's what they/our parents wanted. Why so judgemental? And why is your wedding date over a year and a half ago? And why do you not have a groom's name? And why have you posted over 12,000 posts? And why do you always say mean things to brides?" palegirl146
