Once a bride, always a bride???

My Soon to Be Hubs has a question..

when do i become his bride and how long am I his bride?? 

The definition of bride is a recently married woman...but I was under the impression I was a bride now???

I said that I'm a bride now, I will be a bride on the big day, and I will always be his bride.

Thoughts???

    My mom and dad were married 63 years when she passed away.  My dad often referred to her as "his bride".  It was very lovely.  I agree with nilla:  a wise man will always treat his wife as his bride.  And a wise woman will always treat her husband as her groom.  =)

    like trix 1223, my dad, after 33 years of marriage, still calls my mom his bride. its pretty adorable
