Birthday Vacation!

So T has been very stressed lately. He works 2 jobs, roughly 80 hours a week, full time student too. There is tension because T hasn't had a day off in about....7 months? My birthday is in June. I'll be 19. I am such a kid at heart. I want to go to Disney, however, when I mentioned it to him, he didn't seem pleased. So I decided to change it up and so we're going to Universal. My mom and step dad decided to buy the tickets, and my dad and step mom will pay for whatever hotel we want. I am excited for this vacation! We could really use it! Sound like a good idea?

Well, it sounds like a good idea for YOU.  But why wasn't he pleased about Disney?  Is it because it's Disney, or for another reason?  If it was another reason, I don't know that Universal will fix it.  Is he going to be able to get the time off work?  I'm not trying ot be a Debbie Downer, but it would suck to spend all that money and have it not work out.

Agree with pp, yes its your birthday but he may need you in a different way right now, 80 hours a week + school...

Im on the same page. I quit my job in january so ive been focusing on school but FI has a job and 21 college credits. We havent been able to spend that much time together or talk that much either. So my birthday is april 10, and we are going to stay at a fancy hotel thhat weekend! Im excited! I think those escapes canbe great!
