No emergency, just a question.  Is it ever super tempting to ban people because they post something ridiculous?  

I was reading a thread on the budget board and someone told the OP there that it was perfectly fine to have guests pay for their own food and if the guests really loved the OP they wouldn't mind at all and somehow God was thrown into the response as well.

Is it tempting, as a Mod, to just say, "You are too etiquette/logic/reality challenged to post anymore.  Banned!"?

P.S.  I should never have any sort of power, because I would totally abuse it.

i'm not a MOD, but that OP on that post should be smacked. who the F--- would ever think of asking guests to pay for their own food at HER wedding?
