FI and I want to get our marriage license on our dating anniversary (his idea) and have our wedding about 56 days later (the wedding date we picked). In our state, they say the license is valid for 60 days. The question is, is it valid if it's signed by the officiant within the 60 days, or does it have to be done and turned in within the 60 days? It's a Friday evening wedding so by that next Monday, it would be 59 days...kinda close. Am I over-thinking this? haha
