Wedding card box/basket ideas

I can't decide what to do for our card/gift box at the reception. Does anyone have any cute and/or easy DIY ideas? Thanks!

I got a hat box thing (more oval than a hat box) that matched my colors at Home Goods. Cut a hole in the top (probably could have done a better job with that)Trimmed the hole with red ribbon.Ended up calling it my Va-jay-jay box cause that's all I could think of when I looked at it... I'll have to find a picture...

We needed a mailbox for the house..... so I bought a mail box and used it for everyone to put cards in at the wedding then after the wedding I hung it up for the mail man to use.I like it because it was a multi-tasker and now whenever I go get the mail I get a little happy wedding memory It might be posted in my bio.. not sure.... but then again... its just a mail box

Lol danto ... thats funny. My aunt made me a card box that looked like a cake. She took three hat boxes and stacked them with a slit in the top and then decorated them. Ill try to post a picture when I get home.

we made a photoframe card box, PIB.  It was the hardest DIY project I did but I was so proud of it!  The instructions should be linked there buuuut once I get around to making a for sale bio I'm selling mine if you dont want to make your own!  Obviously you put your own pictures in it

Since we're a fall wedding and our favors are caramel apples, my mom made me an apple basket. It's so cute!
