My fiancee and I have been to about 25 weddings in the 6 years we have been together.....We truly feel that as nice as they can be, they are just too much hassle, and too expensive. Not worth the stress or the money for just one day.
We recently got engaged and we have no idea what to do. We have considered a 'surprise wedding' but not sure how that would work. We don't want a traditional wedding or go through all the protocols....blablabla....It just seems very annoying...We do want to make "our" day special in some way with our closest friends and family...but very simple and inexpensive.
Our friends and family live in a different state.....We also don't want a destination wedding. Any ideas on how to do this?
