Marriage License Q (another one)

I thought I saw in a post before but of course I didn't save it and I can't find it... When you go get your marriage license, what information do you need about your parents? I don't talk to my dad often so I wanted to get any info from him that I would need to bring. TIA!!!

No parent information needed.Just you, your FI (you don't have to go at the same time), photo IDs (license, passport, etc) and $45.  If you/ FI are divorced/ widowed you have to bring in evidence of that (this doesn't apply to me so check on what you need to bring in).HTH!

Yes, you need to know their FULL names and where they were born. When you go to the SS office AFTER you are married and you are changing your name that applications asks for your parents SSNs but you don't REALLY need them. I had no clue and it was not an issue.
