Based on the things you listed that went wrong, I wouldn't really say you had the perfect wedding day.  No one's day is perfect.

I checked out her blog-she compares nursing school to pregnancy, saying she has "all the pregnancy symptoms."  Definitely a little out of touch with reality, and I was kind of disgusted to see that she'd make such a dumb and offensive comparison (I've never been pregnant, but I have to think that morning sickness, cravings, changing body, and general uncomfortableness, is a lot harder than grad school, which I have done).
