b-pics advice

I did it, I scheduled a boudoir session with Tess!  It's on the 30th, which gives me time to prepare mentally and physically, but...What should I bring?  What should or shouldn't I do between now and then to get ready?I'm so excited; keeping this a secret from FI will be a challenge.  :)

I've never heard of a boudoir session! What exactly do you do?? I'm excited for you!

they're very tastefully done partially-nude pictures.  They make an exciting gift for your future husband...  ;)  I'm doing it more for myself, to help document my pre-baby body, since we're planning to start baby-making shortly after the wedding.

That's really exciting! And def. a good idea to document the "pre-baby" body. I wish I had documented mine! GL and have fun!

You're already in great shape, so don't kill yourself over working out! I guess depending on how much you might tan, try to even out some tan lines between now and then as photographers really can't touch them up too well. Keep your skin in good shape, and look for some hair and make-up ideas. If your FI has any favorite things you'd like to pose with (sports memorabilia, guitar, hat, etc) start devising a plan to get them out of the house without him noticing. Good luck!

    1. Make sure you have lots of outfit options. Not everything has to be "super sexy". Cute tops, cute bras and panties, a jersey or shirt of FI's, and bring some accessories. 2. Yes, take YBs advice - get some color on your skin. :) I tanned ahead of time and it as not overly done but just enough to make me feel comfortable. 3. How soon after the wedding are we talking baby making? I wanna have a friend to be preggers with!!!

Gabs - May 2010...  right after the honeymoon.  You too, right?  I would LOVE that, all my other friends are done having babies.  I'll need you.  Hee hee.  I like your advice that everything doesn't need to be "sexy" it's really not my style anyway.

Mel- we need to get together so I can show you my book. :) I made a tank top with the nickname DH has for me and wore it with a pair of cotton underwear and it was one of his favorite shots. Try kohls and marshalls - totally random but their stuff is cute and will fit the budget. Yes, I wanna have a Spring 2011 baby so we need to get pregnant in late spring/early summer 2010. :) !!

Mel, When everything is said and done, please let me know how your experience was and how everything came out. I'm thinking of doing this for our 1 year anniversary (gives me time to get in shape :) ) THANKS!!!   AND I think it's cute that you and Gabs are going to be preggo buddies.

Just relax when you go. Bring a TON of outfits. I didn't even wear all of mine, but it gave me so much to choose from since I didn't know how comfortable I was going to feel. It definitely gets easier the more pictures you take. LoL.I agree with the glow. I had done tanning probably an entire month in advance, but didn't go for a few days before so that it would fade a little and not look fake or not like me.Ditto PP!GL! They are a TON of fun!

I agree w/PP about bringing various outfits - Tess is great, she helped us pick out what would be best on that day.  Also bring some fun jewelry & heels!  Just have fun & relax.  You're going to love Tess...can't wait to hear how it goes!!
