Gifts to parents?

I want to get really thoughtful and budget friendly gifts for our parents. Does anyone have any suggestions? The best thing I have come up with is a giftcard to a really nice resturant in town. This may seem small, but I was thinking it would be nice for them to have a break/ finale from wedding related things... especially spending money. Any suggestions would be great!

First of all, you may want to change your screen name to something besides your full name for internet security sake.

To answer your question, I think a gift card, nice bottle of wine, or perhaps a spa gift card for your Mom and something else for your Dad would be great gift ideas. I know our parents did not except gifts and asked us not to buy them. But I just bought them something on the honeymoon instead bc I felt bad not getting at least something.

I think the dinner idea is nice.

What about a mani/pedi for mom and a bottle of whisky for dad?
I think something sentimental for both of them would be nice, but if you think they'd love a romantic dinner out, then go for it!
