cwag-Does your pet peeve extend to any one else, like hypnotists? I know you can't really explain it, but I was just curious if it is only limited to magicians.
What is the first concert that you ever saw?

    ETA: Clarity

  • Swag-Have you been to the state fair yet??? Have you ever been?

Not yet this year! We went 2 years ago and I was in food heaven. The fried beer was terrible, the fried snickers and fried cheesecake were great, and I was mixed on the chicken fried bacon. I also had my first corn dog of all time from the Fletchers booth. Yum!

Stage: What is your favorite childhood memory?

I loved hanging out with my dad. When I was 3 and lived in Maine, he was a ski instructor during the winter and he would take me to work with him. He coached my softball teams and was always amazingly supportive. If just felt like he 'got' me more than I felt my mom did. I was a tomboy to the extreme, and he let me embrace it. Even to this day, he calls me 'buddy' instead of Courtney.

cwaggoner: are you doing anything for TX/OU weekend?

  • SONYA:  If you could build your dream home, what kinds of features would it have?

I would love a spiral staircase, a fireplace, and a secret passageway! Also, a theater room.

Stage: Have you ever wanted to/tried to go to New York  to work for productions on Broadway?

cwaggoner: What is your favorite thing to do in the D/FW area?

What is the first concert that you ever saw?

Pretty much I have to know how things are done, and it drives me bonkers to not know. I hate surprises (except getting proposed to, that was pretty neat), and I just hate mystery. So hypnotists, nah they're cool.

cwaggoner: are you doing anything for TX/OU weekend?
I went to A&M, so I'm actually used to completely ignoring this weekend and pretending it doesn't exist :)
In reality, I will probably not be doing anything since H is out of town working this weekend, and I need to catch up on housework.

cwaggoner: What is your favorite thing to do in the D/FW area?

That's easy, go to White Rock Lake! I was married there, my parents were married there, and H and I live real close. I will probably go there a few times this weekend, between the dog park and the running trails.

Court - How big was your high school graduating class?

Sonya - Were you living in Houston in 2005 during the crazy Rtia mess??
  • Sonya - Were you living in Houston in 2005 during the crazy Rtia mess??

No, I actually don't live in Houston, I live in College Station (Whoop!), but TK only does the closest Metro area or whatever.

cwag: How do you feel about the Lone Star Showdown being no more?

court: Do you have any hobbies that you do often?
  • GLB- what was something that went wrong at your wedding that made it memorable?

Our best man (Jason's brother in law) didn't prepare a toast, and was ridiculously nervous. It ended up being more of a roast than a toast--talking about how J would babysit his nieces when he was 13 and fall asleep, how he was a terrible driver, basically painted a picture that made J look irresponsible and unreliable. It was a tad uncomfortable, and over a year later he still apologizes to us about how unprepared he was. Some of what he said was funny, but overall it was painful to watch.

Staar- Who is the most famous person that you've met/seen?
  • Cwag- How big was your high school graduating class?

There were over 400 in our graduating class in Kentucky. I guess I should have picked up on the fact that you went to A&M at some point! Brain fart!

Sonya: Do you have any hobbies that you do often?

J and I play darts. I never realized that it was a big deal until he and I started dating, but he has played for over 15 years and it is HUGE in DFW. We play in leagues throughout the week and in tournaments Friday and Saturday nights for money.

Sonya-same q to you! What hobbies do you Adam share?

SONYA:  Did you ever "Spring Break" and if so where and did you like it?

No, I didn't. I grew up in a town RIGHT next to South Padre Island, a big spring break-er place, so I never really had the desire to do it. Much too crowded for my taste.

Sonya-same q to you! What hobbies do you Adam share?

We like to go to Michael's and find little cheesy arts and crafts and do them together. I also love to paint, so sometimes we have "paint dates" and we'll paint our own separate canvases together.

Stage: Do you play video games? What's your fave?

Court: When did you move to Dallas?
  • cwag: How do you feel about the Lone Star Showdown being no more?
It makes me really really sad!!! But I do think it's the best thing for the school. Also, H went to Arkansas, but we started dating before the schools even decided to start playing each other. I HATE that we're rivals now, because it was so much fun to cheer for our teams together, but now there's always the division records to think about.

CWAG:  What is your favorite way to spend down time?
I just love being outside. I like running and cycling, but sitting on the patio, walking and going to the dog park are just as fun for me. I work long hours in a cube, so sunshine and fresh air is WONDERFUL.

Stage - Have you lived in Arkansas your whole life? H's entire family is from there.
  • Staar- Who is the most famous person that you've met/seen?

Hmmm. I was on a plane once with Ed McMahone. It was annoying since he delayed the plane. I also rode in an elevator with Ryan Seacrest right when American Idol first started. It was sort of awkward because he was a radio host on a station I listened to so it was weird that he was actually famous.

Court-What is one book that you have never been able to finish?

[QUOTE]Stage: Do you play video games? What's your fave? I used to play them all the time.  I was a huge fan of Resident Evil (drinking coffee out of my Umbrella Corp coffee much as I type this in fact) and Zelda.  I also loved Tetris/Dr. Mario a lot.  These days,  I do a lot more WoWing on the computer than playing games on a console, but I would like to get Zelda for the Wii.  I think the interactive controller could be awesomeness. and on that note, I'm heading home.  HAve a great evening ladies!

  • Staar-What is one book that you have never been able to finish?

Right now, I can't seem to read more than the first 20 pages of Fifty Shades of Grey. I just can't get past how poorly it is written to go any further. There are a few girls at work that are urging me to keep going, so I am TRYING, but no luck just yet.

Have a great weekend ladies! This was a fun way to pass the afternoon :) Now I'm off to face Dallas rush hour traffic.

  • Cwag- what's your favorite holiday?

It's a tie between Cinco de Mayo (it's the day before my birthday, so it always just turns into a big mexican cumpleanos) and
Thanksgiving, because it's like Christmas without all the pressure and end of holiday season gloom.

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

My family has always called me Cinderella. My Younger sister calls me Samerelli, kind of like the mice in the cartoon would if they combined our names. Anyways my parents divorced when I was 7 or 8, and my Mom relied on me to help out and clean the house and watch my sister. The rest of our family didn't approve of how I was treated, so they started calling me Cinderella hoping my Mom would get a clue I guess. Funny thing is my Mom thought it was funny and she still calls me Cinderella, or Little Princess. I never really minded though.

  • Sonya: When did you move to Dallas?

I moved here in 2007 from Wichita, KS. I mainly moved down here because of a guy I was in the Air Force with that I'd known since '99. After visiting him a few times and him giving me the impression that we could really have a future together, I picked up and moved. The job market was way better in Dallas than in Wichita, so that was also a big reason for the move. Things didn't work out with him, but I met J at work a year later, so it all worked out in the end.

    How do you like Houston?
  • Finally coming back to answer my questions!  When work ends on Friday I tend to stay far away from all things computers since I stare at one for 9 hours a day 5 days a week!

GLB - If no Ravens, which team would I support?
If I didn't have the Ravens?  The horror!!  LOL.  If Baltimore didn't have a team I probably wouldn't really watch Football or even be interested in it.  I love the Ravens because they are my home team and I love watching them play but I don't normally watch any other football game because I just can't get into it.

Stage - What was my favorite part of my wedding?
When H messed up his vows.  It was so him and a truly genuine funny moment which made the ceremony memorable for everyone.  When he finally completed them everyone clapped and he took a small bow.

    lls31 - Am I a baseball fan?
I am not a baseball fan.  I find the game kind of boring to watch.  I think it is great that the O's went as far as they did (finally, after 15 years) and I supported them all the way but I think I may have only watched about 2 or 3 games all season.
