Wilton Cake Decorating/Zumba

Well, I just started the first class this morning.  It was fun and something I've always wanted to do, but now my hand hurts!! 

Have any of you done this or want to?  We only decorated cookies today, but next week we get to do a cake!!! 

Also, I'm doing zumba and love it!  Anyone else doing that?

I did it! I have been decorating cakes for about three years now.  I had a lot of fun learning the techniques, and I was surprised at how easy it is!

Check out cakecentral.com for great recipes, photos, and tips.  There is a marshmallow fondant recipe on there that tastes loads better than the Wilton stuff.

I've done the first Wilton class, and half of the gum paste one. They're super fun if there aren't too many people in it. You get much more out of it if you practice everything daily- that's when you'll really get good-looking cakes & flowers, and your hand will stop hurting once it's a little stronger.

Ooh, I'd love to take one of the Wilton classes.

Also, I love zumba. I go twice a week, and its always a blast.

I've done both!  I took all three courses Wilton offered and I've been taking Zumba for almost a year now.  I can't wait until my guy and I get our house so I have somewhere to put all my cake decorating supplies!  Right now they're shoved under my bed since I don't have anywhere else to put them.
