Registry Question

Hi all...

Posted this on the registry board, but not much traffic there right now and really need an answer as soon as possible:

Does Pier1 have a bridal registry? I can't seem to find any information online that confirms either a "yes" or "no." It appears they did away with it in 2006, however, some google hits show that they have it available. When you go to their website, there's no mention of it.

My fiance and I just spent the last 3 hours on the website, coming up with things we really liked, so we'd be really disappointed if it wasn't possible.

Thanks for your help all....

Re: Registry Question

  • I just went to the website and there's a click-y thing at the top that says "My Wishlist."  Although it isn't labelled as a registry, that's basically what it is, I think.
  • No, you can't. In fact, they just recently began actually selling online. It drove me crazy since that's my favorite store. You can make a wishlist, but it's not like your guests can search for it. They would have to log in under you for that to work.

  • I just created an account/wishlist then had FI test it out and he could find the wishlist I made without being logged into anything (he was on an entirely separate computer and everything) by just using my first and last name.

It may not be the easiest registry for people that don't use computers often, but for FI and I it was pretty simple to figure out.  It may be something that the website is working on too, trying to make better so it will be more accessible in the future.

    Good luck!

  • You can create a universal registry through Amazon, and add things from Pier One onto it, or any other website.  I'm kind of obsessed with my Amazon registry.

    That's a great idea too!

I signed up for Amazon Prime last month and ever since then Amazon can do no wrong in my mind.
