Presents tonight :D

I guess we are doing presents tonight, since FI is being 5 years old and wanting to know what he got for Christmas.  First the deal was we would open them in the morning before going to my dads.  Oh well.  I want to see what I get

When are you guys opening presents?

DH keeps bugging me that he wants me to open his presents that he got me. Apparently he's pretty excited about them. We're going to wait until Christmas morning though. This will be the first Christmas that we're at our own house. Usually we're either at my parents or his parents place, so it'll be fun to spend it here for once.

I will say though, back at my parents place, it's family tradition to get up between 12-2am (Christmas Eve-Christmas morning) to open presents. I have no idea how or when that tradition got started. . .

Me too, I'm very excited.  I know he got my gift at the jewelry store, so I think I know what it is, since I have been dropping hints since I got my ring back from being resized.

If it is, I will freak out.  I think it is the super cute elephant necklace I wanted, since I love elephants  He got me earrings that he let me have early.

FI is upstairs wrapping mine right now so we can start unwrapping! We're doing one together tonight, a couple on Christmas with his family, and one next week with my family.

That's fun!  I don't know that my mom and my brother would have gotten up that early to open presents.  We got to open our stockings Christmas morning before everyone got there, but had to wait to do the rest.  Then we always have Christmas on Christmas Eve at my dads

Haha.  Did you tape it closed again?  FI threatened to open his to peek, so I put his gifts in boxes from work so if he wants to peek he has to open the whole thing.

Scripo, I couldn't stop at one, neither could he.  So there is no point in even trying to tell him he gets one.  I thought about it though.

My parents are coming over today to help work on our house some and I'm giving them their presents then -- my boyfriend is at work all day, so he won't be able to see them .

Tomorrow, we're going to see his parents and both sides of his family -- it's gonna be a long day. We have gifts for his parents but nothing for anyone else because his family is too big!! We're going to open presents before going to church.

I got a nose warmer. It is less cute than your necklace, but so functional! I have a very cold nose.

Haha yes I am an elephant person!  I love them!  I want a elephant tattoo so bad (just an outline of one similar to my necklace) but I am way too afraid to get one.  

That nose warmer is great!  It sounds like something my dad would get me, since he knows I'm always so cold.
