New Knot troublesome for Mac users?

Are there any Mac Knotties that are having trouble with the site since the new "facelift"?  I get a pop up about a missing plugin literally like 50 times when I'm in the chatboards... I happened to be in the Apple store today and they took a look at it for me.  It's got something to do with the video's that the Knot has embedded on the site.  They are made in WMP and not Mac friendly.  Has anyone figured out how to get rid of the annoying pop ups?  

PS I liked the old layout better, just as a side note

PPS- I used to get replies to a thread emailed to me... and now I don't.  Does anyone know which preference setting controls that? All of the email preferences I see are regarding newsletters and whatnot.  Hrmph.

I just close out the plugin popups, then pause the window as soon as it starts playing.  It stays paused, and I don't have any more problems.

I'm a PC, but I have problems with it too.  Use this link http://forums.theknot.com/Sites/theknot/Pages/Main.aspx/wedding-boards_chit-chat and navigate from the left side to get away from the tv. 

But the site is still sluggish and gives lots of error messages.

Yeah it's also a pain for me too. If you right click on the board link on the left side bar it'll pop up in a new tab without the TV area. 

Also, I use Google Chrome web browser and it makes it a little easier to navigate TK. You don't get 50 million pop ups about the add ins at least.

 I own a PC but my FI owns a Mac which I am currently using. He got a new MACBOOK for Christmas. I haven't been on since the new face lift but I have lots of trouble going from the posts back to the board.  Looking for help myself.
