What do you think?

I was going to post this in the favors forum but seems like there isn't much traffic there, so here goes...

FI and I will have a Photo Booth for our wedding.  It is a bit different than an actual booth.  It will be a 12X12 area with an actual photographer and equipment to print all the pictures for all guests.  They could take as many as they want and print as many as they want.  The sizes are 4X6 (single picture) or 5X7 strip (three pictures).  The photographer will have props if guests want to use any.

As for favors I was thinking to get photo frames and use them as escort cards and as their favors.  The other option is use regular escort cards and then have these frames at the table with a sweet message.

What do you ladies think?  Open for suggestions.  Thanks!

  • i dont think it's a bad idea to use the frames as the escort cards if you're going to give them out regardless, especially since they can get as many as they want printed in either size. Why have the additonal expense and time for the escourt cards?

The photographer can advise that X photo size fits in the frame...they can get the one printed they want for the frame...and others printed additionally if they want different sizes too.

  • I think your idea is amazing! This is a favor that people will truly value and use. I like the idea of repurposing frames as escort cards. I would use 4x6 frames because that is a more common size for non-professional photos (in case they wanted to use it for another photo). Additionally, I think guests would be more likely to use the one photo than three photo set in the frames. The guests will be able to figure out that they need to ask for 4x6 photos from the photo booth if they want to use the favor frames.
  • wait am i wrong about what an escourt card is? Isnt that where you get your seating assignment from? Doesn't everyone have to pick it up to get it?

    I love photobooths.
