I know you're all probably sick of reading these, but I've just landed in a situation.
So early last week I interviewed at a small local shop. I honestly didn't think I got the job. It's for part-time (30ish hours) and I have no idea what kind of pay-rate I'm looking at or if there is anytime off. None of that was discussed in the interview.
Fast forward to now, I've got an interview coming up at a larger business that is 50mins away from here. The interview is Monday. I haven't received a confirmation email from the recruiter, so I'm assuming it's still on, but I'm kind of confused as to what to do if I don't receive the email. (They're off tomorrow too. . . I have emailed her to see if things are still 'go').
I also just received an email from interview #1 saying that another position opened up that the owner thinks would work better for me (which it would, much better). Start day would be the third week of April. This shop is also all of 5 mins away from here.
What do I do? Do I respond letting her know I've got another interview? Do I not respond (I think that's a bad idea honestly)?
I'm confused. I apparently suck when it comes to the job market as far as knowing what to do goes. . .
