I mean, is it really that hard to google "winter centerpiece ideas" or "eco-friendly decorations" or "fall reception ideas"? Sorry, I usually stalk the DIY boards just in case something useful comes up, since I'm DIYing a fair number of things for our wedding, but this is just ridiculous. Every once in a while I want to respond, "Google can help." or "Try Google." or "Have you even LOOKED at pinterest?"

(Anyone else notice several double posts, or is it just me?)

    I've told people a couple time to google things. Most of the time I don't bother responding.

    Awhile ago, a regular on Etiquette got tired of this and posted a link as a response with a message saying "try this!"  The link was just a clickable word so the page it was going to wasn't listed.  However, when you clicked the link, it went right to Google.

    The OP came back and said something along the lines of "I don't think you posted the right link... that one just goes to Google?"

    The regular posted back "exactly!"

    It was funny.

    I'm a fan of "let me google that for you"

    You put in the search term, decide if you want a search or the lucky one, and then it generates a link.  It's actually pretty hilarious.
