So, my wedding was close to perfect. A few things went wrong, but nothing overly tragic.
The first one was... my best friend, who was walking me down the aisle, tripped about 3 steps into the carpeted area... then, stumbled three more times. I ended up basically holding her up most of the time. It was funny though... by the time we turned the corner ... and after everyone saw her trip a few times, I said "we got this shitttt", and everyone cheered.
The second... my partner and I were both crying so much during the ceremony... that one of my false eyelashes fell off my eye and landed on my boob. My sweetie snatched it off with lizard tongue quickness !
Our Mariachi group showed up on time, but only with half of the group. The rest of them showed up about an hour late. They were only playing for two hours..., so the fact that the majority of the group was an hour late... sort of pissed me off.
We never got to the bouquet toss, but I didn't really care. We never got a chance to eat... and from what I hear, the food was amazing !!! So, that stunk.
But overall, it was pretty perfect. Exactly what we wanted. A mix of casual and beautiful.
