Wedding rings

Where did you buy your wedding rings? Did you get them from a local jeweler or a website? I'm trying to find a reliable site that carries matching sets.
I'm also having a hard time finding places that carry my size online- i'm a size 3.25.
If you can post pics of your rings or something similar online I would appreciate it.

We got my e-ring, wedding band and his wedding band all from Kay. I love working with them!

My stone from local jeweler. My settings from Jamesallen.com. Boy got wedding band from local jeweler (he got a non-traditional metal).

Some other online sites: White Flash & Blue Nile.

I personally would stay away from the big box stores as they usually rip you off - especially, if you are talking diamonds.

Also most guys are going with non-traditional metals right now, so I would recommend him looking at rings in a store to get an idea of what those look like.

FI bought my ring at a Jeweler in the diamond district in NYC.  You can get great prices if you know how to negotiate.  They know you can easily walk out of their store and go to the one next door if you don't like their price.  It is called R&R Jewlers we are going there to get both of our wedding bands.  FI is going to get white gold.

I got all my rings at Kay's.  I have tiny fingers and they custom-sized my rings for me.  I have nothing but good things to say about them.

I bought my ring at Antique Jewlery Mall on line.  Yup - laugh with me.

Honestly, the ring is gorgeous!

I bought it about 18 sizes too big because I'm kinda stupid.  I took it to the jeweler and it was resized down (several sizes) just fine.  The design goes 3/4 of the way around.  The rest is just a plain gold band.  I purposely bought a ring this way because I knew it would need to be resized during my life.

We bought all of our rings at Zales and have had good experiences with them.

As for matching sets, are you talking about your e-ring and wedding band being a matching set?  Or your wedding band and your FI's wedding band being a matching set?

We bought my e ring from a local jeweler that has been a long time family friend.  We are going this weekend to get my wedding band.  But I have the opposite problem of the ladies with small fingers!  My e ring is 8 3/4!  We did buy FI's band already.  It's Tungsten and we got it for about $50 on overstock.com.

My FI got my e-ring at Jared's and was treated terrible by them when he told them he wasn't interested in opening a credit account with them (silly us for wanting to pay cash!).  I love my ring, but I wish he wouldn't have picked out there (he told me about his less than stellar buying experience after the ring was returnable).  I'm not sure where we are going to purchase our wedding bands from, but we'll definitely be shopping around.

My FI had my e-ring custom made and never gave a second thought you having the wedding band made with it, my diamonds also round out more than a normal ring and wedding bands do not fit with it because they cannot sit under my ring. We got really lucky and found the perfect band at Littman Jewlers, you would honestly think they were made for each other. The FI's ring came from Kay's and is tungsten, we couldn't have asked for better help or a better experience at either jewlery store.

this is close to my wedding band, mine is three bands and all diamonds, and no plain band.

We purchased all of our rings from Blue Nile.  DH ordered my e-ring 2 sizes too big because he had no idea what size I was, we were able to get it resized through them with no problem.  Excellent customer service.

I wear the same size as you, 3.25. My wedding band was purchased from a local jeweler and custom made (not because of the small size though). My e ring was too big and I simply had it sized down, so that's another option if you can't find a wedding band you like in your size.
