I've noticed on here a lot that people say if someone is paying for the wedding, or contributing a lot, than they have a say in how things go. I understand that if a parent is paying, than you should keep that in mind when booking things because they shouldn't have to break the bank to pay for your wedding, but I don't understand the mentality that they have control over things.
Just because someone's mother is contributing to their wedding does not mean its suddenly her wedding.
I feel that if someone wants to help out, than they should just do it to be kind, not because they want something.
Its just something I don't understand.
