XP : Help with centerpeices

I'm not doing flowers for my centerpeices and I was thinking of using these bead things I've been making. Here is an example of one (it's double sided)






I would of course make them bigger. But I would want them to be high enough to be seen from farther away, since they'd also the table 'numbers'.

Any suggestions on how to do this?

I was thinking of having a lantern hanger and hanging them on it instead of the lantern.

Or making a smaller one to hang and then having vases or candles wrapped with the bigger ones. -sigh- I just don't know.
