I need help finding an officiant ! I can't find one near me who isn't asking too much , can anyone please help me ? I have less than 2 months left !!!

I would post this on your local board, you'll have more luck there with girls that are actually in your area. Good luck!

Define "asking too much."   Without the officiant, you can't get married.  I think it's reasonable to expect to pay several hundred dollars for someone who is giving up several hours of their time leading up to wedding day, including the rehearsal, and time writing your ceremony and personalizing it for YOU.   I mean, most people don't think twice of paying that much for a florist or a DJ, so why wouldn't you pay your officiant that much?

Definitely post this on your local board. And ditto Avion - paying $300 for an officiant doesn't really seem out of line to me, but $2000 would be.

Do you have any friends who are willing to do it? Check with your local laws, but a friend of ours got ordained online and performed our ceremony. We bought him a gift - we did offer to pay him but he wouldn't accept.

I am getting married in 18 days, My best friend became an Officiant online and is going to marry us....It costs around 40 dollars.  Do you have a close friend who speaks well and can do this for you?  It is much more personal and will save you money.
