Cash or Check Only... at least that's how it was in Manch.

We had to know the birthplace (city/state) of each of our parents.

So Yay B... was there an unknown option? My father is not only deceased, but he was adopted and I don't know how to find out where he was born.

No, I don't recall an unknown option, but you do have to speak with a clerk before it is filed. I'm sure you can tell them that you have no idea. Worst case scenario, lie! I don't think there was a background check on that info, but I did find it to be an odd field. :)

Hey - We went last week.  In addition to the PPs, you need your drivers license.  We live in MA too and no problems crossing the border to get the doc.  We went to North Hampton and it was easy breezy. You probably already know this, but you can get your license in any town in NH - it doesn't have to be the one you are getting married in.

Bring a camera.  Us signing our license is one of my favorite pictures  :)

We just got ours last week! :) So exciting, although FI found it more of a hassel since it was a detour on our way out of town....cranky pants.. The big thing for us was that it was only open M-F 8am-4pm and it does take about 20 minutes with no line at least in Nashua.  We only needed to know the state of birth, honestly I wasn't sure about my dad either but they don't check on that. FI ended up spelling his mom's maiden name wrong hahaha.  Ah well. GL and enjoy
