Sorry ladies, no photos yet. I'm hoping for a teaser or two soon, but I know he's in busy season still.... but I will post as soon as I have them! I'm sending my dress to be cleaning using wedclean.com. I heard of it on the Boston board, there were quite a few girls who used it and had positive reports. I was skeptical at first but they seemed to endorse it. I haven't sent it yet... but after I got it home from the beach I hung it to dry and periodically keep shaking sand out. It seems to look ok right now. Honestly not much worse that I thought it might look if I had been married ON the beach. My advice? Get dirty!!! Honestly, I had so much fun... and whatever they are able to do during the cleaning, they'll do. I'm more preserving it not because I want my future daughter to wear it (who knows if I'll even HAVE a daughter and if I do she may not like it or fit in it...), but if I ever do maybe she'll just take some of the lace off of it... use it for veil, wrap on her flowers, etc.

I had not heard of wedclean. Thanks for that. The site looks amazing! I have heard from others that they took their dress into the shower and got the salt water/sand off before letting it dry. Now to convince Eugene.I'm with you. I actually don't want (or expect) my future daughter to wear my dress but using the material in some way would be wonderful.
