Mason jars

Does anyone know where I can get mason jar for a reasonable price? I will be buying in bulk, about 100-150, possably more.

Your best bet may just be to go to Wal Mart. Amazon has them for just over a dollar apiece.

I just picked up 2 dozen at a local hardware store.  Many of the smaller hardware stores carry them and you could probably have them order you in as many as you need.

If they don't all need to match, keep an eye out for them on Craigslist and at yard sales this summer.  If they do need to match, like PP said, a hardware store is your best bet.  They go on sale a few times in the spring, but in general they aren't cheap.

I love Mason jars for canning and decorating. This is one of those things that sounds like it will be rustic and cheap but ends up costing a small fortune, though.

My husband and I do canning in the summer so we get our mason jars by the case at our local supermarket.  I'm not sure if they're cheaper this way or elsewhere, but it might be worth your while to check it out.

I would also check out your local thrift stores. I've found many vases and other items I needed for the wedding there and saved a ton of money.
