I know that this isn't the first post saying this. I know that I'm going to get responses telling me so. I know that some people aren't going to be happy.
I don't care.
I am so tired of seeing people ask questions and get torn to shreds. Yeah, maybe sometimes it's a troll. But sometimes, it's real people, people that are actually new, asking a real question that they don't know the answer to. If it's a troll, can we let the mods handle it? Is it really the end of the world if we treat the troll like a real person and allow the mods to step in if it turns out to be a troll?
There are some people here whom I really like reading the posts and responses of. And then there are others that I cringe when I see their screen name, because I know that someone is (probably) going to be treated badly.
I know that I don't have a lot of posts. I know that I joined fairly recently. but I've been reading a lot of posts since I joined, and I really am tired of seeing new people treated like crap. I joined The Knot because one of my friends had a good experience here a few years ago. I'm saddened that other girls aren't getting to have that same good experience.
*sigh* Let the flames begin.
