So we went to our second to last pre marital class Monday night. Our pastor who is 28 him & his wife are expecting their third child September 27 (they just found out the expected due date a few weeks ago).My FI & I are very happy & very excited for them. But on Monday night he told me he may need to have a fill in pastor for the wedding if the baby comes late. I understand why & it's fine. I'm just a little upset about it because we are close to our pastor & we were really looking foward to having him. Family matters especially a beautiful newborn boy comes first. We're all hoping he comes on time the only part that gets me is if we do need a fill in pastor it would be someone we don't know at all. Our pastor is finding one for us.
Has anyone else had to have a fill in pastor for whatever reason? If so what was it like? We're just afraid if we do need one the ceremony wont be as personable like our Pastor will make it.
