Good DJ under $1000

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good DJ that costs under $1000?

We just signed a contract with Ernie Houle from Locomotion DJ Productions in Dracut, MA. He DJed my co-worker's wedding last weekend and they loved him. He's great, down to earth, and willing to work with you to really make it all about you and not all about him. He's charging us $1050 for 6 hours. I know it's a little over the $1000, but not a ton. Hope this helps a little!

I am using Dave Lynch ($849 for 5 hours) and he comes highly recommended on this board. FI and I loved him when we met him.

We used Matt Pearson for ceremony and reception and he was fantastic! I think it was about 700 for the whole night and he was well worth it

Main Event starts @ $450 and goes up from there.I think Get Down tonight also is around that price but I am not sure

I used DJ Joe O'Leary from A Goodtime DJs and was thrilled with him. I think for 5 hours we paid about $850. I had a lot of guests compliment him too. He did exactly what I asked of him

I am using DJ by Jake out of Mass. He is a friend of the family and does good work.

Under $1k? A college friend of mine just used Cool Tunez DJs in July and loved their style and no-cheese professionalism. She got a lot more for her money than she expected, which is always a good thing.
