Here is a lil back ground on the situatuion..
My FI ex girlfriend's mom use to work with my mom.. Its been so LONG ago when they worked together. I use to work with her mom too.. I have no problem with his ex or her mom. I never really knew his ex but we never had a problem with each other. My FI's parents and his ex's parent use to be really good friends. They still talk every now and then. His Ex's parents live like 5 miles down the road from us.
Well his ex and her mom HATES him. Which really doesnt matter to me, but she would do ANYTHING to make him mad. She recently got married and moved to a different state. Everytime I see her mom she talks to me and I talk to be nice. She will ignore my FI. Well when she found out we were engaged she started emailing me. Her mom started going to the same church we went too. Which is fine.
But Now they have it in their head that they are going to be invited to the wedding.. My mom is always like invite them. I am not about to invited them to my wedding. Its not that I dont like them but they HATED my FI and so why do they like him now. My FI is the one who has a huge problem with them wanting to come. Im not trying to be rude but they are NOT GETTING INVITED.. My mom said she was going to invite them.. Its starting a HUGE fight because My FI, Dad, and I do NOT want them there. My parents are paying for it and so since my Dad said he doesnt want them there either then it should be fine. I really dont want to hurt anyones feelings. BUT if they keep it up (mom included) then I will hurt their feelings.
Sorry I just had to vent!
