Wedding Porn

Am I the only one who has ever heard this term before? My FI asked what I was doing and I told him looking at wedding porn. He then asked what that looked like so I went along with it and sent him a text of a random sig pic. For the last hour he thought I was watching women in wedding dresses getting it on. He is very smart, so I don't know WHAT he was thinking. Anyone run into this before?

I just asked DH if he had ever heard the term wedding porn. He laughed his a$$ off, then asked what exactly it was. I think he was disappointed

Wedding porn seems a bit derogative to me. I feel like there's a better use of words to encompass what you're doing rather than saying you're looking at 'wedding porn'. Porn has an association to the word of being 'bad' or 'obscene' (regardless of what your personal opinion of it really is).

I personally wouldn't associate the two together. That's probably just me though.

hahahaha I like reading the guys website theplunge and they had a post about it called "How Wedding-Porn is Brainwashing Your Fiancee"  At first I was rather confused and a little freaked but then I read the post and realized what they were talking about and laughed at the post. I thought it was really funny about the way they were reading some of the advice. It made me laugh but it is rather making fun of well.... theknot and bridal mags and the like.

I live with my fiance, my man of honour, my bridesmaid, the best man, and one of the grromsmen for our wedding. They've called it wedding porn, but we are also twenty years old and crammed into a tiny house to keep rent down as we are in university. It's a good joke. Relax and don't take life so seriously.

I have heard of it before the knot, on a few websites, but my FI thought I was nuts when I told him I was looking at wedding porn. I asked if he wanted to see and he siad no thanks. haha. i convinced him to look and he laughed... I think its funny

I dont' use it regularly... I just wanted to see his reaction. It was not what I thought it would be.

I have heard of it before this site, but I doubt FI has.  I am tempted to ask him.  He is too focused on a video game right now to care though.

I don't even think "porn" when I see it, I think wedding pictures!

Ok so I just asked him. I said "what would you think I was doing if I told you I was looking at wedding porn?"

He looked at me and said "what the f***?"  So I asked him what he thinks it meant.  He's like "Uh, people gettin jiggy on their wedding night probably! But who has the job of taping that?!"
