State and User Id Question?

I'm a board n00b and I'm NOT from Colorado...haha, I've tried changing my "where i'm from"....not working??  And I know the FAQ's said you can NOT change your User ID, but I never PICKED my user ID to be my e-mail in the first place...I've been a Knottie since 2002-3ish?  Awhile.  Anyways, ideas, suggestions would be awesome, thanks!

You can always just set up a new account and choose a new username.  I think that's about the only way you can get a new username.  You will show up as being new, but that doesn't really matter.

The only way to change your user name is to get a new account. It sucks. I had the same problem. I didn't pick my name either and it put my email address down. This is my NEW account, sans email!
