I completely glazed over when I saw your sig, but one of my best friends just got married there July 22nd.  It was beautiful down there!  Although that may have been the longest walk down an aisle I've ever done.

How neat!  I wonder if I know her....like, if she is one of my regs on my local board?  Where was her reception at? 

I am actually leaving tomorrow for a weeks vacation in obx and I cannot wait to get back there and just breath in the salty air

BTW, I have always loved your wedding pics....you look so happy!

I'm 99.99% sure she wasn't on TK.  They had the rehearsal at 1587 (the restaurant at Tranquil House) and the reception at Adrianna's.  It was gorgeous.

And thanks!  I was (and am still) very happy!

I'm jealous of your vacation.

LOVE 1587!!  My H and I went to dinner there 2 nights before the wedding and it was soooo good!  The pic in my sig was taken right behind Adrianna's.....I love Manteo, such a cozy & quaint little town.

Did you get married right there?  My friend and her H actually got married at the lighthouse.  I think they had about 40 people including BP and it was perfect.  I totally agree about 1587, it was soooo good!

We actually had our ceremony on the beach outside of our beach house and had the reception at 108 Budleigh over in Manteo, it's about a block away from 1587.  We ran over to the pier to take some pics, which ended up being some of my favorite ones :)
