Hey ladies, hope you all are having a great weekend.
H and I just started doing the P90x system, and I love it! Today is day 2. I love that we can do it at home whenever we have time. Anyway, on to my question.
H and I live on the 3rd floor (top floor) of our apartment building. The walls and floors are rather thin. I know this because we used to live on the 2nd floor and could hear people stomping around on the 3rd floor. Today, we did Plyometrics exercises, which involves some jumping exercises. Within 15 minutes of our workout, our downstairs neighbor comes upstairs and says, "Um, it's too loud, can you tone it down a bit?" I checked my watch. It was 5pm.
While I understand how annoying the stomping can be because I have personally endured it, I feel kind of annoyed and like now I have to be extra careful not to be noisy when we do our workouts. We actually didn't jump like we were supposed to and this might sound stupid, but I sort of resented that. It's not like we were doing it at like, 11pm at night or 7am in the morning, you know?
So, tell me, am I being rude and intolerant and should just get over it, or should I just talk to my neighbor and kindly explain that these particular noisy workouts are just once a week for an hour and agree to do them at reasonable times? Advice, please! Thank you!
