Eeeekkk! I only have two maids, so I figured that I would just go with them somewhere after my bar exam is over next week and pick up something. My wedding is in 50 something days. I am in LOVE with the Alfred Sung Spring 2012 line, especially the D530....but horror of horrors, BM dresses take nearly as long as a wedding gown! I have only ever been one once and we got our dresses off rack at Davids Bridal years ago so I figured it was just that easy. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am wearing satin, and haven't found anything at Macy's etc that is in either of my colors (Persimmon and Raspberry). I would love something one shoulder like the D530....thanks guys!!!

I found one in stock at bestbridalprices! Its cerise, which is close enough...now to find one more!

Some bridal stores have one-the-rack dresses you can choose from, or look for some online but not from a bridal place, any kind of store that sells special occaision dresses would do.

I agree with the suggestion not to just order it...I almost did in a moment of panic, but my sister emailed me fifty "OMG do not do that's" in a row, so I am calmer now. I like the two David's Bridal picks alot....and since we live in three different parts of the country and there are Davids Bridal stores everywhere, that might be the ticket. I also may consider longer dresses, but we are all under 5'4, have different sizes and are extremely busty, so we are under the gun if we are going to fit in alterations if they are necessary. I hate that I didn't realize how long it took, but luckily my maids are my sister and my BFF, so they know how I procrastinate.

Or....what about beige dresses with persimmon shoes and necklaces? I am not huge on color anyway...maybe thats an option.

I think buying someting off the rack or from DB is your best bet. I think Beige dresses with colourful accessories would look great!

You should look at Target's new line of BM dresses. They have limited colors, but they may work for what you are looking for. I think the styles are really nice too!

My favorite tool is shopstyle.com.  Select the color you want, price range, etc. and you have a bunch to pick from.
