Bad Luck??

I know it is considered bad luck for the groom to see the wedding gown before the wedding, but is it also bad luck for the bride to see/ help pick out the groom's tux, or is it ok?

No, the superstition doesn't work the other way, for some strange reason.  FI prefers not to see my dress before the wedding (though I didn't mind showing him), but he has no problem with me helping pick his tux.  It's all about what you two are comfortable with.

There's no such thing as "bad luck."

Do what you guys want. If he asks for help in picking out the tux, by all means go with him or look at pictures.

If he says he's got it on his own, though, I'd stay out of it. Not because of bad luck, but because he's an adult and should be able to pick out his own attire. I would be very insulted if FI acted like I had no clue what I was doing in picking out MY outfit, so I figure I owe him the same courtesy.

Ditto pp.. there's no such thing as bad luck. It's a tradition for the groom to not see his bride's dress before the wedding, but I've never heard of it for the groom's tuxes. FI and I plan on picking them out together and we were actually just talking about going to look at them after the holidays since he just had a groomsmen g2g and told them he'll have the tuxes picked out by next month. Don't worry about it, it's certainly not bad luck and I think a lot of brides help their grooms pick out their tuxes to make sure it flows with the style of the wedding and because sometimes our boys don't really know what they're doing haha.
