So I just picked up my dress this week! YAY! I'm so excited and I am SO glad the shop let me order it 3" shorter, because now it won't need hemmed at the bottom. However, I do need to add a bustle, and possibly have it taken in a bit on the bust just to keep it snug (although, with a corset back, I really have no idea if it just needs to be laced up a little tighter). Just something simple for the bustle (I think the way the store employee showed me was called a 'french bustle').
I posted on my local board looking for a recommendation, but can any of the ladies here give me an idea of how much (as an average) these alterations usually cost?Thanks for your help!
